“Botswana was definitely the highlight for all of us, particularly for game but also for the incredible ecology of the place.
At each camp everyone asks where you’ve been and where you’re going, we were constantly told by camp staff that our itinerary was superbly planned, and it was – all credit goes to you on that.
One night at Sabi we came across a group of about ten males heading to the watering hole at sunset, they were playing around, drinking, wrestling with each other and affectionately draping their trucks on one another.
One of them came right by our vehicle and sprayed water at us, barely missing us.
It was truly magical to be part of that, and that is the feeling that we have all brought home with us.
That, and the feeling that one day we will all go back to Africa.”
